Meet Boomer the Yorkshire Terrier – About Yorkies

My Boomer is a one and a half old. I love him with all my heart. I attend The Ohio State University and he loves the buckeyes 🙂

I adopted him from a breeder around 3 months old. Recently he has become very protective of me.

In one of his pictures he is with his best friends Puff and London. Recently London was attacked by a bigger dog and died on the way to a Animal Hospital. We had a nice funeral for her. 🙁

My mom tried to talk me out of getting a dog since I am in college and working and she thought I wouldnt have time. But I love animals always have and searched long and hard for my pup. Now my ENTIRE family drives from Akron to Columbus OH to come and get my pup 🙂

I couldn’t post the pictures of him and my niece! Whoever says yorkies can’t get along with kids doesn’t have a pup like mines. He loves playing with my 3 yr old niece and she calls me almost everyday asking to speak to him 🙂 I’ve taught him how to play nicely. They fight, run around the house, jump and play all the time and they don’t even live in the same city!
