My Yorkie Sally has been my most reliable friend for 13 years.
She loved me when I was drunk.
She loved me when I was broke.
She loved me when I was a disappointment.
She loved me when I got back on my feet.
She loved me when I was in a good mood.
She loved me when I was in a bad mood.
Never did she change her attitude towards me and always made me want to be the good person she already saw I could be.
She barked in anticipation and wiggled her tail when I came home. I will love her and carry her in my heart forever.
Now Sally is 13, her heart is giving in and she has become slightly incontinent.
She has her good days when I can take her out for a short walk and play with her squeeky toy, but that dreaded date is fast approaching. 🙁
It’s ok that she’s making her way out of the world,my daughters great dane is making her way out to she will be 8 soon and that’s very long for a great dane if she lives to her birthday because she is going peeing and pooping in the garage where she lives and my daughters getting sick of it and her husband is really attached and he definitely knows how you feel.
