I came into this beautiful little dogs life when I came into his owners life.
My wife to be had Gizmo for about one year when we started dating and he was like the icing on the cake.
After dating for several years, we finally got married and life was great. Beautiful wife with 2 wonderful sons and this cute little dog that was so much fun.
Horribly, my wife got sick and died after only 3 1/2 years of marriage and the most comforting thing in my life was her little Yorkie…Gizmo, that knew I was sad and would put his head on my lap and look up at me when I sat on the couch.
He got me through a very bad time and we became like souls mates for the next 7 years.
Sadly, I had to put him down yesterday and it broke my heart once again.
He was 15 years old and had a wonderful life filled with all the love he could handle.
I will miss him dearly but take comfort he is back with his “mommy” in heaven. God bless both of them.
