Our Yorkie was named by my husband who is deaf and terminally ill.
Max is a Hearing Service Dog who assists mostly my 91 year old mother now that my husband is bedbound.
He gets her when the doorbell rings (no more missing that!) and the telephone.
Max is a great comfort to my husband, Tom, when Tom is in the hospital like right now.
He is just the right size to cuddle and not hurt Tom.
He doesn’t bark when he shouldn’t. Staff think he is adorable in his service dog vest!
I do not know what I would do without Max.
