Dixie Mae is 5 years old and is so adorable. We love her so much. She has to be with the family all the time.

She sleeps with my husband and I and also will go into our son’s room and sleep with him. She has to be touching you at all times.

If we are in the pool so is she. We just had to put our ole boy Luke down. Luke was a 15 year old poodle and we miss him so much. Dixie Mae misses him too. At Christmas we put our 19 year old cat down also. So Dixie Mae has lost her four legged friends and I know she misses them much.

We are looking for another snorkie to add to our family and have yet to find a breeder close to us. We would love to have another. Dixie Mae is a joy to our hearts. Her right ear never stood up but always flops down. Her trademark.

    Lonely Dixie Mae

Hello, and my deepest condolences on the loss of your dog and kitty. I know how hard it is to deal with the loss of a pet since they are a family member, not just an animal. I can imagine how lonely poor little Dixie Mae must be feeling. I also see that you are looking for a breeder in getting a new Schnorkie for your housefold. Can I ask that you go to an animal rescue and see what they have before you “buy from a breeder”. We rescued a Schnorkie, Max, that I found running through a busy intersection here in my city. Even though we posted ads as well as signs, no one ever came forward to claim him so we added him to the family. I am a member of several animal rescue sites on facebook and see Schnorkie dogs available all the time. If you could rescue one to add to your home it could save that dogs life. If rescue isn’t where your heart is being lead, I understand that. I hope that you find a new dog to help heal the hurt in your hearts and to be a wonderful companion to Dixie Mae. Again, I am so sorry for the loss of you two animal family members.
